To the Kherson State Maritime Academy July 5, 2016 A representative of the UNIVIS LTD Crewing Company: Director of the UNIVIS LTD Crewing Company Surkov Vladislav Nikolaevich and Director of the UNITRAIN LTD Training Center Andriy Podoprigora will be present at the working visit.
UNIVIS LTD is one of the largest crewing companies in Ukraine, which is the unconditional leader in the supply chain of crews for all types of vessels, such as dry cargo and bulk vessels.
To date, their services are being used by world-class companies from the UK, the European Union, Japan, Canada, OAU and South Korea.
The UNIVIS LTD crew data base has more than 33,000 officers and seamen to operate on different types of vessels, including Heavy Lifts, Oil Tankers (including Suezmax and VLCC), Bulk Carriers (up to Capesize and more), Container ships (capacity up to 13100 TEU), Dry Cargo, Project Cargo, Ro-Ro, Lo-Ro, AHTS, Jack-up.
The visit began with the presentation of the academy. Under the leadership of the rector of the CDMA, professor Khodakovsky VF, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work Benya A.P., Vice-rector for educational work Khodakovskaya O.V., Head of the Department of Practice, Diploma and Employment, Khmelnytskiy District State Administration, Solovia O. ., Deputy Chief of the MK MDA, Head of the Laboratory Training Complex Shtahel M. Yu. Guests attended the Museum of Maritime Education and Fame of Ukraine, as well as get acquainted with the most up-to-date training base of the Academy and the Kherson Marine Specialized Training Center at the CDMA, which allows cadets in practice to acquire all the necessary skills on a ship.
During the meeting, the contract was concluded “On Cooperation of the Kherson State Academy with the crewing company” UNIVIS LTD “, which involves the practice of swimming on the company’s vessels, the training and retraining of seamen, as well as the exchange of personnel between the academics and UNIVIS LTD for training in the simulators Centers and Getting Practical Experience.
The representative of the crewing company thanked Volodymyr Fedorovich for the warm reception and substantive presentation of the academy, high potential of our educational institution was noted.
