On November 5, a new affiliate program “Mind Matters” was launched (literally, reason is important), part of which is a confidential hotline for ship crews.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of mental health and well-being at sea.Members of the North P & I Club and their crews will have access to resources and materials that will help them maintain their emotional state on the flight at a high level, and will know where to turn in case they need additional psychological help. Part of this program – the confidential Mind Call hotline – is the result of collaboration with ISWAN. The hotline is designed for crews of ships in North P & I, working seven days a week and is available for calls around the clock. The Mind Call team speaks several languages, which makes communication as comfortable as possible. In addition to the telephone line, seafarers can receive support via email or live chat, available on www.mindcall.org.
All information about the company and the hotline is available on the site www.mymindmatters.club.
