Prime Tanker Management has launched insurance program for valued seafarers and their families
Since January 2020, the world’s leading tanker company Prime Marine Management has launched the medical insurance program for seafarers and their families.
According to surveys, medical insurance is one of the priorities during the process of choosing an employer’s company and also allow seafarer to feel more secure. Moreover, the safety and health of seafarers is one of the most important points in the maritime industry. Leading companies in the shipping industry around the world pay great attention to the implementation of medical insurance and its development.
Seafarer is insured at sea , but what if the health incident will happen during vocation? What if urgent medical assistance will be needed for his wife or children while the seafarer is on board.
Additional medical insurance allows to help seafarer in such situations. The medical insurance covers not only the payment for the treatment of the seafarer’s diseases, but also the provision of urgent medical care of him and his family members during the year. Prime Marine Management is covering all insurance costs for their valued seafarers.
We are very pleased that our Clients, major shipping companies such as Prime Marine Management and the leader among container shipping operators – Seaspan Shipmanagement are actively developing this area.
